Purple Up Picnic at ALES

Each year, Andre' Lucas Elementary joyfully commemorates the Month of the Military Child with a delightful Purple Up Picnic on the lawn. A highlight of the event is the performance by the 101st Airborne Division Band, which fills the air with beautiful music and entertainment for all attendees. Mrs. Stine, the school counselor, has been the driving force behind this event for many years. She expressed that it is a wonderful chance to honor our students and their families, emphasizing the invaluable support from the community. The presence of the 101st Airborne Division Band truly elevates the occasion. This year’s event was the result of weeks of preparation, with contributions from cafeteria staff, custodians, and the entire school community, all working diligently to ensure its success.
